Tena Koutou Katoa,

A new term ahead and exciting times for Caring Families Aotearoa! You may have heard we have brand new trainings being delivered over the next year! I want to especially highlight the Ako Ngātahi series of on-line trainings that are available, as we don’t have many Northwest caregivers tuning in. These are only 1-hour discussion sessions between one of our Regional Coordinators (sometimes me 😊) and either our Programme Manager or Therapist. There are daytime and evening options too. If you struggle to get to training or don’t have training near you, they are such a great option to tune into and keep filling your kete! Follow the link below to see this month’s sessions.

Keep an eye out for our mailouts with more in-depth information, or click below for our training calendar for dates, times, and locations.

I am still keen to hear from anyone who is interested in being involved on the Northwest Committee. It would be fantastic to have a few people who enjoyed contributing their ideas and a little time to assist around events for caregivers. Give me a call if you wish to know more.
