Foster Care Awareness Week
Foster Care Awareness Week is an annual celebration held every March. It’s a special week that is all about celebrating YOU; our wonderful caregiver members who put in the mahi every day to care for some of Aotearoa’s most vulnerable children.
In 2026, Foster Care Awareness Week extended into a month of celebrations! We hosted 14 special events to show our appreciation for caregivers, including appreciation morning teas, Heart of Healing Care workshops, a pottery class and other whānau get togethers.
