When Vikki first took five-year-old Finn* into her care, he was severely malnourished and traumatised.
This precious little boy had never experienced Christmas – and had never even had any toys. But his first Christmas with Vikki was truly magical. He could barely believe his eyes when he spied the sparkling tree and all its tempting presents. Building a healing home for such a traumatised child has been incredibly challenging for Vikki, and at times lonely and exhausting.
