Thank You to our Volunteers

Caring Families Aotearoa, like many other not-for-profit organisations, wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the amazing work of so many volunteers. Last week (20-27 June), we celebrated with these dedicated people during volunteer week.

Thank you to our Regional Committee Members who generously donate their time every year to ensure our numerous events meet the needs of caregivers in each region.

Thank you to the hard-working Critical Support Team. This amazing team, with members throughout Aotearoa/New Zealand, give their time to support caregivers in need by providing them with information, advice, and support.

Thank you to our office volunteer, Wendy, who comes into our National Office every Thursday, rain or shine, and kindly helps our fundraising and admin team with filing, mailing, and makes beautiful cards for us to send out to our donors.

Thank you to our Support Group Liaisons who organise and run support group meetings for caregivers. They assure caregivers that they are not alone in their journey by providing a listening ear, and a cup of tea.

And lastly, thank you to everyone else who finds a way to support their community, whether it be helping someone bring groceries to their car, picking up rubbish at your local park, or reaching out to someone in need.
