L’Oréal for Youth (formerly Face your Future) Update

Since 2007, L’Oréal New Zealand has been a valued supporter of Caring Families Aotearoa.

For 15 years, L’Oréal’s Face Your Future / L’Oréal for Youth programme made a significant impact, empowering over 650 care-experienced rangatahi (young people) transitioning from care to independence. The inspiring two-day programme provided interactive workshops and motivational speakers, encouraging participants to envision a bright future beyond their time in care.

In 2025, recognising the evolving needs of young people, L’Oréal has retired the two-day overnight format of the L’Oréal for Youth programme. While the original two-day format is no longer active, L’Oréal remains deeply committed to supporting care-experienced youth.

L’Oréal continues to demonstrate its commitment by supporting organisations like Caring Families Aotearoa and VOYCE Whakarongo Mai. L’Oréal provides generous donations of luxury products from its diverse brand portfolio to Caring Families Aotearoa. These products are distributed to caregiver members through various channels, including competitions, events, and direct support initiatives.

Additionally, L’Oréal partnered with First Foundation to create the L’Oréal for Youth Scholarship, which supports a care-experienced student through four years of tertiary education.
