Kia ora everyone,

I hope this finds everyone well. I have been waiting for the colder weather to try out my new heat pump. Don’t forget, if you have a community services card, or live in certain areas, you may qualify for a heating and insulation subsidy. Don’t go cold for another winter, click the button below to find out more:

We have training coming up over the next few months. Enrol if there’s anything that interests you. Also look for our online training if getting to face to face training is difficult for you.

After our training, I will be hosting light lunches or afternoon teas – watch out for emails about this. Please RSVP if you would like to come, you don’t need to have come to the training first.

On 15 June, in Carterton, we are delivering a brand-new course titled: “What’s behind the behaviour – Healing centred engagement”. This workshop explores the importance of emotional connection with children. It helps participants to understand and explore the idea of being mind-minded in parenting (being aware of their feelings, thoughts, and desires as well as those of the child). Click the training calendar below to find out more information.

I will also be emailing shortly about hosting some get-togethers around the region. It would be great to meet more caregivers in person. Please let me know if you have any suggestions about events in your area.

Have a great month everyone!

Bernadette
