Kia ora koutou,

‘Ha waka eke noa – We are all in this together’ is a proverb that we all became familiar with during lockdown. It speaks to this idea of being connected, an awareness of our commonality as opposed to our differences.

Caregivers now have the opportunity to attend training and local support groups. I encourage those who have never attended before to give it a go, you may find that what may seem like a demand on your schedule is actually a blessing. There are likeminded people who share support and enjoyment in connecting with each other. We have a list of support groups below and a new training calendar, I hope there’s something you find of value?
