Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa / Warm greetings to you all,

Well, here we are already in Term 4 and COVID-19 is still creating uncertainty in our lives. We are fortunate to be able to continue for the time being with some face-to-face trainings but of course, this is determined by current levels.

Upcoming Christmas Events

Unfortunately, our fishing team has had to make the difficult decision to cancel our famous event in Nelson. The team will keep us posted on the possibility to offer this again in April.

We are planning an event for Westport as well, so please keep an eye open for emails etc, as the Committee is hoping for a pool party. I believe we need to make opportunities whilst we can as this current environment leaves us with little certainty.

Thank you to those who attended the Family Fun Day events that were held in the Upper South, it was quite different to our normal pool parties but trust that everyone had fun.

I look forward to seeing you all during this busy rush at the end of the year as we wind down another strange year that is becoming a little too familiar.

Ngā mihi nui,
Denise
