Kia ora e hoa mā, hi friends,

How are you keeping? My thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by the recent flooding and cyclone damage in the past couple of weeks. The start of the school year can be a mix of excitement, stress, and anxiety at the best of times for our tamariki in care, without the added challenges that have been experienced last month. Do reach out if you need to talk or need any help getting connected with support.

SUPPORT

FACEBOOK

The Caring Families Aotearoa Auckland Support Closed Facebook Group is also a great way to connect with other caregivers in the Auckland area and keep in the loop with upcoming events– if you are not yet part of this group and would like to join, please click below.

My days of work are Monday – Thursday 9:00am- 5:00pm. At times I’m out and about in our region for training and support so please text/ring me if you’d like to pop in for a cuppa or a catch up: 027 538 9691.  I’d love to see you.

TRAINING

There are a range of online trainings taking place this month; I am hosting a What’s Behind the Behaviour workshop in Grey Lynn on Tuesday 28th March. This is the first time this training has been available in Auckland, and I am so pleased to be able to invite you to join. We’ll be looking at the ‘why’ behind the behaviour children may show, and how we can support their unique needs. It’s going to be a good one!

Check out our training calendar for more details and to register.
